Growth Industries

He's at my Alma Mater, CWRU.

I would bet he's pretty sharp.

I would also say that it would probably be a waste of time and application fee for most Gators to apply. CWRU has real academic requirements.

When I was a senior in high school (just before they invented fire!) I wanted to go to Case Institute of Technology to become an electrical engineer. My folks would not let me apply. My mother wanted me to get a good all-around liberal arts education. And besides, you could count all the Jewish double EEs in the country on one hand!

So I went to U. of Virginia. They had to just about burn the place down to get me out. I was not one of your really great students, but I did learn how to mix a dry Martini and roll a really tight doobie. I even got laid once... or maybe twice... surely not more! (Muffin McCalister... had pin-up body... but a face like 30 miles of bad road... which is why god invented booze and dope, right?)

Al3,

Sounds like that was before C.I.T. and Western Reserve University merged in 1967. You're still a young man. ;)

I was there in the late 80's.

Sounds like you were still able to get some valuable experience at The University of Virginia. :1cool:

Great story!

Thanks for all of details of your college education, but you failed to mention all the calluses you acquired while boxing Oscar, with the pin-up body in mind... About as useful as the info about rolling the doob, wouldn't you agree...?
