Guaranteed Issue for Applicant on Dialysis?

my 2 cents.

I sell a little GI and near GI. A lot more under age 50 than you would think out there. My latest under 50 were, Alcoholic, Sickle cell, Dialysis, Mental Illness and Cancer. All of these were referrals.

If over 50 and I think that they are not going to make 2 years I send them to MoO. I am in business, Charge backs are bad for business. If under 50 and I do not think they will make two years I may write them. Case by case.

If I am close in premium to MoO but higher. I am probably going to write it and get paid. I truly believe the family is better off with me as their agent than some clerk at MoO. And again, I am in business. I normally have other business with the family or will.

I do not sell price first and I am rarely replaced. I think taking advance on GI business would not be bright on my part.

Anyone have a good list of under age 50 companies?

Same here. I don't write any GI by choice. I do send people to MoO and to Newby for Vantis. But, on the occasion that they don't have to have GI and can qualify for AmCon's ROP I have written it. If they happen to be a non smoker then AmCon's rates are right there with MoO. Maybe $2-3/more per month. I show that to people and tell them that can get the MoO or they can go with AmCon and have an agent. They usually chose to go with AmCon. Doesn't happen often that a person can qualify for AmCon. I've probably written 5 over the 2 and half years that I've had AmCon.

They go down to age 45. Monumental's ROP is any age that they write their other business on, I think. I've never written a Mon ROP.

JD and Wino illustrate my point perfectly.

They have decided what to show a client. Maybe they give the client a choice, maybe not. They are doing it for their reasons, not because some joke of an IMO is blowing smoke up their rear about the product and they don't know better.

People like you give good GAs, IMOs, etc a bad name.

You're obviously an arrogant ass with a biased agenda for some and against others. You're a self-appointed hatchet man with nothing positive to contribute.

I know what GI stands for, but how is it different than SI? Underwriting?

It's guaranteed to be approved.
There's a waiting period of two to three years for full benefit, usually.

Simplified issue plans are usually first day coverage based on sucessfully answering health questions.

In between are graded plans where the health questions do not allow for immediate full coverage but they're not as bad as guaranteed issue. These folks can usually get a percentage, like 30% in year one and 70% year two as a policy owner, then full face amount starting year four.
