Health Sherpa

Still waiting on eligibility notices for apps I submitted on 11/17. Am I missing something here?

Starting to get nervous about submitting more to HS if all these apps are doing is sitting on a server doing nothing.

Well, just submitted my first Health Sherpa on Marketplace app for a couple. Got the email, as did the applicant, with the confirmation number. It was with an insurance company I am licensed to sell for 2015 (confirmed with them while there).

I will let you guys know how it goes.

:GEEK:

Well. The client got a message from HC.gov, and to see it, they are asking her to create an account, with password. Then they are asking if she wants to apply for coverage. Nowhere on there do they give her the opportunity to put in the confirmation number we got from Health Sherpa.

Now, she's afraid - and so am I - that we have to start all over again, on HC.gov, and that Health Sherpa was just a waste of time.

Any advice?

Submitted four.

First two during the weekend, all things looking good, eligibility letters posted etc.

Second two, nothing... crickets.

man you have gotten further than the 3 apps I submitted.........

Of the 5 or 6 I have submitted, 3 have eligibility letters and 3 do not. Apparently they had an issue with my FFM password, which I changed and resubmitted to HS.

Not sure what the deal is on the 3 without the letter.

Ning will surely come by and elaborate as he has already.

But if you don't ever provide them your FFM password when you set up the account and when submitting apps they don't redirect you to healthcare.gov where you enter it yourself on app submission, how could changing your password matter?

the password is something new on HS. I received a voicemail from HS saying I need to put in my FFM password yesterday. My partner received the same call yesterday.

No idea why that is required now, but it was not required when I submitted a couple apps this summer on HS.

Bob --- "IF" you got an eligibility letter for that client on HS, you can create an account on HC.gov and use the "find application" link on the main page of the client's account to "drag" the old or recently created application into that account. It works about 90% of the time. Sometime I get errors saying the app does not exist; even though I have a pdf from last year.

So far, I have submitted 9 applications to HealthSherpa on 11/17 (4) and 11/18 (5). They are telling me they are waiting on my FFM password which I have given. I have not received any certification letters and all my clients are still in their Q.

HealthSherpa has no customer service, for I have called several times and only get a recording. Not sure what to do at the time. Should I continue to use these guys?

I agree. I have the same problem

Just got an email that they are having a snag at the date hub, all applications are saved and waiting on the fix.

He reminded me of the id/pw issue that I already fixed. It is because our id/pw has to accompany each enrollment to verify that we are FFM certified.
