Health Sherpa

What other carriers require this extra step besides Humana?

-------------------
ITEM 2: ATTRIBUTION ON COMPLETED APPLICATIONS

Certain carriers(e.g. Humana) require you to go through additional steps in the "Pay Premiums" section of Healthcare.gov to finalize an application and properly attribute it to you.

Here's how to do it:

1) Log in to your HealthSherpa dashboard,
2) Click on each submitted (white) application
3) Click "ACCESS ACCOUNT" for every completed application.
4) Log in to Healthcare.gov.
5) Look up application.
6) Click "Pay Premiums" and follow instructions to set up payment for the client.

I emailed Ning and here's what I got back:

So far we've only seen this with Humana, so you should definitely do it with Humana enrollments, and spot check a few from your other carriers to see if they have anything like that set up.

Thanks,

HealthSherpa

Locally, Coventry prefers but does not require payment to be made, BCBS of KC does not require. I'm going to assume that since I can "skip" the payment step on H.gov and get paid on cases that this step is not required on H.Sherpa as well.

Ning,

Bone head here. Can you delete the free case I gave you on Marriot from Missouri. I've emailed customer service. I also resubmitted her on my account after I "LOGGED IN"....

This post is serious and also meant as a moment of levity for those as stressed as I am.

We'll be in over the weekend clearing all tickets - we should get through it sometime tomorrow morning - we're starting at 7:00 AM PST (we're in SF).

All two of them?.............................:D
