Ok, so everyone that signed up with HC.gov has received a letter that looks like a copy of their Eligibility Notice stating that further information is needed by them within 30 days or the plan cancels.

Now I cannot speak on everyone's behalf but I can with my situation. ANYONE who had to submit income verification, immigration status and even incarceration status had supplied me the needed data and I assisted them in uploading neat PDF's of the requested information.

Just got off the phone with HC.gov and even though all clients are showing as "Submitted" the status should show "Verified" meaning HC.gov has :no:LOST:twitchy: the documentation and the client needs to re-submit the requested information.

I suggest to all agents (this is getting old) to re-re-re-re reach out to your clients who you've enrolled to ensure their coverage will not be canceled in 30 days.

This is getting RIDICULOUS.

Received a couple of calls this week from clients in this situation. It's beyond rediculous! What's just as bad is that the insurers/carriers will accept NO role in assisting these folks, even though they have a vested financial interest in keeping them on the books as much as we do.

I wonder how many of them will just say "screw it!" and buy off-exchange for 2015?

I followed the rules to my understanding... I submitted the docs via website. I will fight tru the password change with anyone that calls stating they are requesting info.... there comes a point the feds should be held accountable for loosing info....

I'm trying to wrap my head around him saying "The feds should be held accountable"

This is bad...Clients coming out of the woodwork calling about the letters they're getting from HC.gov. Each time it's the same thing. Logging into their account to check about the documents uploaded. It shows that the documents have been uploaded i.e. "Submitted" but none are showing verified.

:err:We're about to have millions of individuals lose coverage because of this glitch.

well... we submit the information via the provided process at the FFM, what are we supposed to do? Fly to DC and drop them on the desk of the sec of HHS? Even then they are not equipped to handle the submissions....

This entire submission process was a big fat fail.....

Client called me yesterday and said he got the letter and asked/insinuated that they were not submitted, I logged into account and they were... he says what do I do and my reply was Damn if I know.

Tater, it shows "submitted" not "verified" this is the issue. Per the Marketplace the magic green button has to say "Verified" Every one of my customers accounts are showing the same thing. I went round and round with the marketplace call center today with a client trying to get this figured out. That particular client not only supplied the requested documents via the web portal but also mailed the documents....yet the Marketplace has no records of the documents and is threatening to cancel the plan in 30 days if she doesn't resubmit the income documents. Talk about one PI$$ed off client.

I even asked the 4 reps I've spoken to today if there was a better way and they all suggested that the web portal was the best route. My response if you didn't get them 4-5 months ago when we uploaded the data then how will we know you'll get them now?

If they lost personal information is that allowed?
