Mi.
I am trying to figure my best options for a guy who gave me a handful of good referrals.

He might not be insurable at this time. I am in Michigan.

He takes Glucophage and Zocor. His numbers are good. Glucose 100 & AC1 6

Blood Pressure 120/80

He's been on these meds and regulated for 5 yrs,..

Height is fine. 6 ft weight 270

I am only contracted with Assurity, Genworth, and Transamerica. I do have access to many more.

Any suggestions?? I could use some help. So far I have him only covered on an acciflex return of premium-maxxed. It might be all I can do.

I love the way you say height is fine...weight is not.:twitchy:

He's 4 inches too short for standard(he'd be table 2)with Standard Life and Accident. Not sure about the meds.

Oh geez. I forgot a very crucial piece of info. This was the biggest problem I think...he's on a CPAP for sleep apnea. Also for 5 yrs.

The biggest case I ever had issued was a $1M GUL on a 66 year old male on a cpap. Issued at standard with AmGen. The apnea isn't as much a challenge as the build, even paired with diabetes under good control and the apnea. Might not be uninsurable, but brace for a rate-up.

Honestly, does he have any convertible term now? He's a diabetic, whose build is bad by BMI, and needs a Cpap machine because of apena. He's a deep table at best. Good luck. I hope he already has coverage so you can convert.

Thank you all of you.

He wanted 500,000. Doubt he will do that now. Lol.

At least 100k. I did do a 250k acci, but of course he needs more coverage than that. Assurity no way or the other ones I have.

I will check american general.

Unfortunately no. He came to me too late. Or I found him too late. Lol. I am thinking he's unisurable, but I remember back in the day getting a few through like that. Just can't remember what I used. I'm sure it'll be high table rate if its even possible.

Thanks for the luck. Hate that when you can't help someone esp when you know he'd send a load of biz my way. Ugh

On the DM, all the normal questions. are you talking a small policy <$50,000? O2 on the cpap? what are his sleep studies like?

I amend my earlier post about the cpap. If O2 is used in the cpap, whole different deal.

I hear ya wino. Prob not going to happen. :) thanks though for the trying to help.

Get a premium tolerance and work with that. I had a quote request this week for $500,000.00 term that ended up with a $25,000.00 FE policy after we talked about price and process. you have this much time in him get the info and quote him. Get paid.
