Help W/ SIAA and Smartchoice Calculations

Hi,

I've been reading all the comments regarding SIAA VS SMARTCHOICE. I'm here in California trying to make a decision if I should go with SIAA or SmartChoice . I need help. The $10,000 down required by SIAA where I was told that they will just collect $2000 now and I'll have to pay $300/month. Any advice will help. Thank you

I am located in Maryland and I have an Accounting Book of Business but no Ins book of Business. How do I get appointed without joining SIAA or clusters?

I am sorry meant to say AgentSecure. Did you ever hear about them?

JSINGH & IINYCBOY : Any luck with AGENTSECURE ? So far it looks pretty decent deal ?? Any thoughts that you can share I'm in Long Island - maybe we could get together and evaluate the options..

their pretty good. i used agentsecure for 3 months. but 80% of my quotes needed underwriter approval which slowed things down for me.

the reason i signed up with them, is to quote instantly and to quote on weekends and sometimes night time. couldnt get the quotes out and they were accurate. going thru my wholesaler was faster. so i canceled and stuck with my wholesaler.

depends on what youre quoting. i think personal lines agent secure is nice and fast since most of the questions are very basic.

i think they changed their structure and fees again. im not sure. i got an email about it.

I was in going through there application. I asked rep do you have any market in five boroughs. She said no.

No one has anything for nyc or long island. If you find anything please share.

Maybe this lady is not sure what she is taking about.

Metlife is not competitive. Travelers is good if you have good record(which no one has these days.)

What you are using now?

Honestly besides Geico there is no really competitive auto market in NY ... I've seeing some good #'s with Mercury and NY central in the past weeks.. but again direct writers will take over in the near future... Time to prepare for a different market ... or focus on sub-standard auto market- still a lot money to make with that...
