Help W/ SIAA and Smartchoice Calculations

Try contacting a broker in your area see if he will allow you to place business through his carriers and see if you can setup a buyout option when you can go direct your self
 
Right now I am writing through wholesalers.
Auto through my old broker.

I would like to quote myself because clients don't like to wait.

Anyone has feedback about smart choice. I am thinking of reaching out to them.
 
I think you meant to say Iroquois since you already said SC denied.

Iroquois is a good option, for me it was better then SIAA & SC. It all depends on the state and what your agency needs are. They are definitely one of the top 3, I would reach out to them to get some information.
 
even the clusters, you have to send to them to quote.

in my experience, the local mga and wholesaler are better than the cluster in turn around time and binding. if you send enough business they give you the quoting program too.

Where in NY are you, maybe think about jumping the bridge? Not off the bridge but like to another State.

With a cluster, you should get binding authority (as well as direct quoting). Initially, they may set you up to run policies through them but the goal of most clusters is to get you appointed to the carrier.

I know some carriers are slow, some carriers you won't write enough, etc, those will go through the cluster till you have the volume requirements to get the appointment.

First of all, you better shut your mouth talking about confidential info, i know you signed a confidentialty contract before they gave you all the info.

Your just looking at dollars, you dont understand all the support and extras we get with SIAA
