How Many Quote Requests Did Your Website Receive in 2012?

My point is that selling insurance policies and doing internet marketing at the same time is an impossible task. If I would sell insurance, I would outsource my marketing to a professional internet marketing company. Another option is to setup your own in-house affiliate program and pay publishers per lead generated (you can get your own professional affiliate management portal for $99/month). Buying leads can also be an option, but you would have to spend some time finding a good lead provider, while you search always get a refund for any leads that are invalid and after 50 leads or so go to the next seller if you made no sales. Progressive for example sells leads to their agents. You can also buy 100,000 old leads for around $10,000 and use outsourced freelancers from India or Philippines callers to call and re-generate old leads into fresh leads. You can expect about 0.5% conversion rate, so about $20 per lead plus labor cost (minimal). I would expect a high closing ratio from these leads, and any that are out of your license area should just be resold for about $20 to a leads aggregator. You might get better results through using email campaigns instead of call center. The point is the job of originating these leads was done by someone else, this way you can focus on searching for the prospects who happen to be shopping for insurance and selling (273/100,000 would be buying insurance today, and 2083 this week if all contact info is current and valid, 5 would be buying insurance today in your state). Now how someone generated 100,000 leads online whatever their freshness status is a different and career. Liberty Mutual for example buys insurance leads from other insurance companies. If you want to sell more insurance make sure that you are not working both jobs of selling and internet marketing. If you could understand how to generate insurance leads online you would understand the theory of internet marketing and how to generate traffic for any market sector, and you would quickly figure out that you are wasting time trying to sell insurance. This is just so basic, I hope everyone can be successful in what they do as long as they don't try to do other peoples jobs. You wouldn't try to make your own paper that you use in the office, so focus on selling insurance not counting how many leads you generated. Any agent can have access to unlimited number of leads. You should also inquire about his 3rd page guarantee SEO service I hear he's got a discounted rate of $699/ month for IF members or $599 for those with groats disease.

Sounds interesting.

How much traffic do these $99/month sites get? How many leads per month?

Well, this is a site that targets insurance agents. Not web designers or affiliate marketers.

The agent that started the thread probably doesn't have the time, money or expertise to start a website (or numerous sites) for the sole purpose of generating affiliate leads.

Give that, did you answer her question and contribute to this thread or not?

$99/month would be for your own affiliate network website. This means that you can accept publisher sign ups. You can create your own offer and set commission amount per action. For example, if you choose to create an offer that pays per internet lead generated (info submitted into your insurance quote request application hosted on your website) and pay per action is $6.00 your offer would be broadcasted on thousands of websites and affiliate publishers would come knocking on your door. You can expect to sign up 1000 affiliate partners or so pretty fast meaning that your website will now have links coming from 1000 other websites potentially thousands of back-links. You wont have to pay for bad leads, and you can always sell extra leads you don't need. This is one of the most unheard of tricks, how to get many free back-links and generate tons of leads. Publishers that post your offer to their website might have very good PR, so if you add up 1000 or so your website PR will shoot through the roof, and search engines will start to pick up your website. Of course this would mean that you would start to get tons of free organic traffic.

Check this out, this website, ClickInsure . com is owned by some insurance brokers company. They are using the affiliate network script I am talking about. These guys where just regular insurance brokers when they decided to give this a try, and now they are huge. In fact, they don't even use the leads themselves anymore, they just strait resell. I can look it up again exactly who the company is if anyone is interested. The script is provided by HasOffers .com

Thanks for the kind words and I'll take it one step further! For this month only, the price of $699/$599 is reduced to $499/$399. It's a heck of a deal and the $200 per month association fee (it's new) is perhaps tax deductible.

Let's face it. Pages 1 and 2 are crowded. EVERYBODY is gunning for those pages. We shoot for pages 3 and 4 where the competition is less. It works! Try us!
