I have Forethought agent contracts available

I'm getting a lot of IMs and calls with questions about Forethought and selling Final Expense in general so I'll try to answer them all here:

How are Forethought's rates?
Forethought is priced in the middle. They are a little higher than Oxford and LaFayette BUT they accept more applicants AND they pay a much better commission. Rate is NOT the deciding factor in final expense sales. More people buy the AARP/New York Life policy than you will ever sell and it is MUCH higher than anyone else on ages 50-75. Forethought is lower than the AARP's and Lincoln Heritages but higher than Oxford.

Forethought pays close enough to the lowest rates but has relaxed underwriting AND pays you a commission AND renewal that you can make a GREAT living at.

Forethought pays the death benefit within 2-days of the death in most cases and that is HUGE to the families who want to use the policy for funeral arrangements. Funeral homes DO NOT give credit as a rule anymore. When your client dies, you want the policy you sold him to work smoothly for the purpose it was intended. If they have to scramble around for money to pay the funeral home and then wait for weeks to be reimbursed by the insurance company, that is not good.

Contracting: You can contract with anyone you want. The street rate for Forethought is 110% plus 10% renewal for 10-years. That's real good. I've set a few people up at better than that but don't ask for it until you are making some sales. I come from the Funeral Home division of Forethought not the traditional IMO channel. We are a very direct channel. We are in the Forethought offices many times a year and the president and most VPs of Forethought know me personally and have a very close working relationship with IFPA (my upline.) When Forethought was developing this product (ForeLife) they flew 20 agents in from around the country to have a discussion board of exactly what we needed. I was one of those agents. And Forthought kept MOST of what we recommended. Your upline if you contract with me is shown here: WELCOME TO IFPA The agents who contract with me should be agents who just need a little direction and guidance and help with specific cases. Those who make sales and are independent will move up into the top commission brackets rapidly. I am not looking to have 5,000 agents contracting under me. I will have 10 to 15 that I can honestly help. Your other contracting choices are traditional IMOs which are also very good and can offer more traditional IMO-type features (co-op lead programs, webinars, web sites etc.) If you read through this thread you can find links to Complete Solutions and as far as I know they are a good IMO.

Now about selling FInal Expense in general:
You need a MAIN product that has good rates and commissions. Good choices for this are Forethought, Monumental, Americo, Shenandoah, Royal Neighbors, and quite a few others.

You need a secondary product that has the lowest rates on the street but may be a lower rated company or pay lower commissions (or both.) Oxford is a good choice for this.

You need a third product for guaranteed issue cases. Americo and Presidential have that. Forethought also has a version of it but I am only going to give it to agents that already are making sales with the Forelife product because it will confuse you.

Leads for final expense. Some agents run direct mail leads exclusively and do fine. Some cross sell their other products. Some do senior seminars. Some contract with funeral homes. Some do door to door. Some telemarket. I have done all of these. They all work. The main thing is activity. You can't control who will buy today. But you can control your level of activity and how well you qualify people. All your contacts will fall into one of 3-catagories; interested today, interested later, or not at all. It's how you remember and follow up with the interested laters that will make all the difference in your future sales.

IM me if you want to see the contract, rate card and commissions.

Thanks!

I'm going to have to refer you to Travis Tubbs or Complete Solutions for now. I didn't think I would get as many agents signing up as I did. I don't want to make a full time job of it.

I spoke with Travis today and he has Forethought contracts available now along with his Royal Neighbors. He's a regular agent and long-time contributer here on the forum. He's living the life right out in the trenches every day. You can't get a better mentor than that. Travis, post your contact info here so people can find you.

Also Ramaiz from Complete Solutions has contact info on this thread. He has contracts and is an IMO with a 50% co-op lead program that sounds interesting.

I have RNA contracts and Forethought both @ 110%. As I said before I am not a professional marketer, and do not supply leads. However, I will be glad to share my marketing approach with you. An offer some support via phone calls and emails if you would like.

Both of you are reducing your credibility significantly with the banter. Make "your" pitch for what "you" have to offer and let the other guy make his...without furhter comment. It should not be personal. Speak only of yourself and all will be well.

For what it's worth.

Dear Mr. J Scott Burke (Newby),
I asked a simple question about your lead support. I too offer Forethought Final Expense, and was wondering what kind of lead support the competition was offering, if the answer is none, then so be it. I simply asked a question. With this said, you found it necessary to go into great depth, and make many assumptions about my career and intent of asking such a question, so to make the record clear I will clear up many of your assumptions.
Unlike you, I do not peddle my products on this forum, I do however ask questions, give advice, and share ideas on this forum. Allow me to ask you, if someone else would have asked the same exact question, would you have went off on such a tangent as you did with me? It was a credible question, I did not find it necessary to devote an entire paragraph to me and my intent of asking such a question.
I can see how others may think I am a recruiter, and yes, I am very successful and "good" at my job, but are you not trying to recruit yourself? Are you not trying to build income by getting overrides? My entire income is based on production with my company, so yes, the more people I can my successful under our hierarchy the more successful I and our entire executive staff will be. But you are doing the same exact thing, recruiting.
I have been in the industry for many years my friend, so don't let me good looks fool you. I have been captive, semi-captive, independent, and broke. So for you to assume that I am some Joe Shmoe who got his license yesterday and wants to build a mediocre hierarchy and make some money, you are far from the truth.
The fact of the matter is that we offer above street level to our agents, AND give them lead support. We can do this by having a direct contract with Forethought. To get this contract you must have a proven track record of success. We are that success.
With this said Mr. Burke, you did not answer ALL my concerns. I would like to know if you are actually the IMO, or are you contracted under an IMO. I would also like to know the prices of your "very low cost" lead programs and how you subsidies them. I would also like to know how long the Burke Agency has been in business, and if your so passionate about your insurance opportunity please explain your Company's website.

And since you found it your Job to Tell everyone about Complete Solutions Inc, I would also like to chime in on this subject. As stated before by Scott, I am Ramiz A Hakim and I am the Senior National Sales Director For Complete Solutions Inc. our phone number is TOLL FREE 1.866.866.7951 and we are located on 75 N Dixie Dr., Vandalia, OH 45377. We Have IMO/FMO contracts with many Medicare Advantage, Medicare Supplement, Life Insurance, and Annuity Companies. We have two wings of our organization. A Captive Wing and a Broker Wing. Combined we service more than 5,000 active agents, who with our home office support, lead programs, and training have become as successful as they would like to be. Since the early 1990's we have specialized in the senior marketplace.

I also enjoy playing Texas Hold'em on the weekends, smoking clove cigarettes, and golfing when its nice outside. My passion is helping agents make money. You will find that many recruiters get paid by the hour so they don't really care about retention and how successful each individual agent is, my entire income is based on the success of our agents, so you can bet your ass that I will try my very damn best to make each and everyone of our agents successful, and our agents will let you know that to your face.

So please, Mr. Burke, address the concerns I have above, and if you have any questions concerning me, my intent on this forum, Complete Solutions, or anything else in regards to my career or what I do on my free time, do not hesitate to call me, or PM on this forum. I trust that you have my phone number.

Great Selling,
Ramiz
