I Love December Sales!

Being my first 4th quarter, I don't have experience, only observations.
I believe with the exception of Thanksgiving week, TIME is not true obstacle.
"It's a bad time" is a cover. Vets know that already, newbies are either told that, or eventually learn it. In my case, I had to learn it the hard way and lose leads/sales for about 2 weeks as a result. One of which was Thanksgiving week.

I'm not getting much "it's a bad time" obstacles anymore. The advise I got from my upline was to take the obstacle away during the presentation by just letting them know nothing needs to start until January. Somebody else suggested adding something to my appt setting script to take away concerns as well.

I believe the true obstacle at this point is money as they don't even have enough to buy what they would like for their loved ones for the Holidays. I've been toying around with some lines during appt setting and presentation. They are based on these beliefs:
- There are programs offering free protection for the month of December if you qualify for 2015 enrollment.
- Many people are qualifying for additional insurance at NO additional cost.
- my job, as a field underwriter, is to qualify those folks who responded to the mail campaign. I'm trying to see twice as many people as I normally do tomorrow, it won't take long at all to see if you qualify.

I am blessed to be part of an organization that does not shut lead supply off to their agents for December. I pray for all those new people who are barely hanging on that they were given advise on how to Prepare. Yeah...I'm a softy. Not wishing financial failure on anyone.

Here's a tip I learned the hard way too. Pretty stupid one really, but I fell pray to hit. If you order mail drops regularly every week, you'll have to change up and make a specific plan, by week, for ordering in Nov/Dec.

Anyway....
Ya'll have any lines or comments your making this time of year during appt setting or presentation that seems to help?

Disagree on your mail advise . Your upline did shut there mail offs down by mid November in all likely hood you just don't know it or you never felt it. The proper Way to handle the holidays was to increase your mailouts or fix cost mail order by a multiple of 4-5 from the last week in October till mid November during that 3 week blitz. For instance I got 105 leads last week and hope to get at least 200 more thru the first week of January. I also have some older leads to door knock that I purposely accumulated.Ill restart all ordering by the 7th of January and throw in some Tm leads. Your upline probably did the same thing and is just giving you a small amount per week out of the stock pile they've already received.

Ben where were you on the evening of December 6th?? O_o .... LOL.

You should be ashamed of yourself.

That has been the lead news since it happened. Unfortunately she is not the only person to die in such a manner in Mississippi in the past few years.
