You would think so but it actually makes it almost impossible for an agent to break into the market. First because we are GI and with the state Mandates we have essentially 1 carrier offering plans for the IFP market (plus Mega). There is almost no market for IFPs and Anthem the only real player requires 1 Million plus of premium before they will appoint someone new. Meaning you have to work the group market and then back door into the nonexistent individual market.
