Insurance Blogs and Keyword Density

Mark...I meant that I do not call them. They get plenty pf emails...and most have a personal touch with the rates.

Jeff...Right now I do NOT ask for the phone number (not required to get a quote). I estimate that 10%-15% put in a phone number anyway. I guess I assume they don't expect to be called, and I don't want to jeopardize a possible sale.

Some good research on this would help.

We do the same Chumps. Rarely do we call a client when they request a quote from our site. We get so many it's not worth the time to chase a hundred people for possibly one sale.

We're P&C mainly, no health but our system, in a nutshell, is they fill out the form on our site, it goes into an autoresponder, we get the quote for them and email it to them, autoresponder follows up for several days and over next couple weeks.

I just closed two that filled out forms last month. They called out of the blue.

I don't use internet lead companies only our sites. Then we let the autoresponder do the selling for us.

Everyone thanks for tips, they are definitely appreciated.

As to the 20% keyword density, that was a figure I got out of Adsense for Dummies.

Prinzel....as to the Google keyword tool, which one are your referring to?

keyword tool
search based keyword tool
traffic estimator

Again everyone thanks.

Gosh, ladies and gents thanks for all the help.

I kinda feel bad for asking another question.

Does anyone have any advise about how many "Keywords" to target in each blog post?

And should a blogger be targeting just variations of the same keyword like....

Ohio health insurance
Ohio health insurance rates
Ohio health insurance prices
etc.

Thanks again!

"Do you find you are getting enough traffic to your site, to generate your own exclusive leads?"

Plenty of traffic, and yes...many quote requests. Quality varies. Some prospects are a dream come true...Clean health and wanting to apply quickly. Others are just gathering information.

Chumps, are most of your inquiries through a web form, or do you receive many phone calls?
