Insurance Website Earning Good Revenue

Never try to teach a pig to sing.

It is a waste of your time and it annoys the pig.

I agree, thanks for pointing out the their lack of understanding. The point of this thread was to show other agents a creative way to earn income from insurance affiliate programs as a supplement to their existing income. Oh well!

Mike, providers are the health professionals that provide the service, e.g., doctors, dentists, chiropracters, etc., not the insurance companies. As was stated before and I will reiterate----there are no discounts in health insurance!

I was just reading through my thread an noticed that moonlightandmargaritas sure has quite a bit to say and most of it is negative.

If you want to call pointing out mistruths, half-truths and inaccuracies negative - then so be it.

I was going to call you a whiney, sniveling little girl, but then I thought better of it as you might report me again to the Administrator...

Oops...what's that? You better run along. I think I hear your Mommy calling you.

Hopefully this post will finally get you suspended. I am sure there are other insurance forums where you can nest. Stay thirsty!!!

There is no such thing as a "deep discount" on health insurance. Doesn't exist, not allowed by law.

Providers is not correct terminology. They are carriers or companies but never providers.

I haven't checked your website today, but the comment in question was

"Each Health insurance provider below is currently offering deep discounts."

Health insurance rates are normally approved by each state DOI. The companies do not offer "deep discounts."

I put my zip code in. How come i did not get a deep discount here in New Jersey. If they offered a deep discount, the insurance would be Sh##. I know this because I purchase health insurance for my family, and it is not cheap.

I read some of your blog. All I can say is that an insurance agent would probably lose his license if he said what you have to say.

Just a quick update, coverage is the same price, whether purchased online or through an agent...it is highly improper to say 'deeply discounted'. In the context you are using it, it would be unethical for an agent to say this. You are welcome to email me and I'll explain why, but in short, it sends the wrong message, neither agents nor carriers can provide one person a discount over another person without approval from the department of insurance.

I like your marketing, but as others have pointed out...honesty is not exactly your most prominent attribute.

As was stated before and I will reiterate----there are no discounts in health insurance!

OK "Mike", we have about 200+ years of combined insurance experience telling you that your stuff is not truthful, dishonest and misleading.

Your response? You decided that we are wrong, and you won't change it.

Nice integrity.

Try to Listen for a second before you go off on a tangent again.
Every insurance website from Allstate to Geico advertises "Discounts" and "Savings". So you will also need to contact these companies and tell them they are "not truthful, dishonest and misleading".

I know I am naive trying to tell people they could save on insurance. What a silly concept. As far as 200 years of experience. I hope your friends appreciate you lumping them in with your rants. They are probably not your friends anyway, so it does not matter.

There are probably quite a few people that don't participate on this forum because of guys like you. That's a shame because those people would probably be much more constructive than a wind bag that intrudes on every post.

Stay thirsty my friends (how original)!!
