Insuranceleads.com

Leadco was one of the lead services I used years ago with great success. Almost overnight the leads came to almost a grinding halt. Stacy's a fantastic guy and was responsive but I never saw the volume pick back up.

The rumor mill was that they were allowing people to bid a higher price, hence the reason my volume dropped. Never confirmed whether or not that was the reason.

InsuranceLeads.com used to be my favorite lead provider by far, all the way up until they were bought out by Allwebleads. As everyone has already beaten to deal, the whole Allweblead/netquote/insuranceleads.com/Insureme web has become just terrible.

Hometownquotes has been ok, i've been with them since i left Insuranceleads.com. They seem to have their fair share of horrible affiliates like everyone else, but at least they are pretty good about crediting them.

I didn't even know Leadco was still around. They were pretty good back in the day, I forgot all about them.

This was about the time they fell off the cliff with ROI.
They rely exclusively on affiliates and had (when we were using them) very few filters on catching bogus information coming in. When they were told, repeatedly about their bogus leads coming from the affiliates in question, they said, "Thank you, we'll look into it."

But, when only 1 or 2 out of 8 agents that are sharing a lead complain, they've already made their money and then some. So there appeared to be little incentive to change anything.

As a result, they've lost a LOT of agents that I know and work with.

Yup same here. And for some bizzare reason they seem to have no shortage of new agents buying their junk. Seems like it's nearly all captives these days tho- probably some kind of group deal with managers that don't listen to feedback, who knows? :)

I've used them. It was one of the worst lead experiences I've had. Didnt even get most of my leads. What I did get was bogus. Zero customer service. I had to be very verbally forceful just to get it through to the guy I bought from that I was never buying again and to stop calling and emailing me. It was terrible. That was about 2 years ago. A year and a half without hearing from them, then last month I started getting all kinds of emails from again. One actually, I think, from that same person. The people I've dealt with there were: Patrick Hamada, Patrick Flynn, Arin Safian, Tom Wescott, and a couple others whose names I don't have. Terrible company.

I agree, when I was selling P&C I used 4freequotes as one of my lead vendors and Anthony was always standup guy when there was an issue with a questionable lead.
