I just started sending a reply to the email addresses that I receive in the leads. My only concern is that the response by me will decrease my setters ability to set appointments.

Give me your thoughts on the intro email.


"Dear Jane,
I've received your request for information and a quote for Final Expense Insurance and I wanted to let you know that I'm the agent in the area that handles the requests and also to let you know that I look forward to helping you. My assistant will be calling you here in the future (probably tomorrow) to see when a good time to meet with you is, my assistant's name is XXXXXX.

If you need any further assistance before our meeting please feel free to either email me or call.

Hey Chris, I sent you my thoughts on this privately but hopefully some other agents will follow up with their emails. I know many agents who get my leads are doing this now. The one thing I really like about yours is mentioning that you are their local agent and I think that is a good point to get across to them. All of the ads that represent you talk about their specifc state, so I think that is something they will continue to relate and respond to.

He's a lot better salesman than I...I didn't close any of the leads I got, but 5 isn't a very large sample size...

No you need to do it from the web. You can still do it from your phone, just open up a browser and log in to the insurance forums.
