I will start by saying I have only been trying to sell for 2 months. But I have switched companies, styles, done exactly what the training says. Said exactly the words I was taught. I just want some real responses for what I could actually make in this industry.
I am willing to work 7 days a week 12 hours a day but I am spinning my wheels in mud with these clients I have been trying to speak with. It's just a ton of wasted time and effort. I don't mind working hard as long as I know the more hours I put in the more I will make.
1.) Does anybody have a solid process that would allow me to make great money I am open to anything.
2.) What sector is the most lucrative? Annuities, Medicare, FE, Auto Insurace, Mortgage Protection? I am open to selling any of these I have my AHIP and can sell any of them just want to sell the one where I can ACTUALLY make good money month after month.
So far what I am really seeing is that these customers, these old people don't really want the policies or already have it.
I am getting discouraged and this isn't living up to what I thought it would be. Any suggestions would be great!
When I was starting out, and I told people how much I was working, and how little I was making, they thought I was out of my mind. I told them once it got going, it would be great, though. People really thought I was nuts.
Now that's I'm rolling, I'm doing very little work, for a considerable amount of money, but I paid my dues.
I could have made more asking if folks wanted fries with their order.
Four months before my first commission check . . . $69.
My wife wanted to know when I would quit and get a REAL job.
She no longer asks that question.
I worked my tail off my first year. I made about $8,500. I remember at least one person telling me I should quit this insurance nonsense and get an actual job. Cashier at Safeway was there suggestion.
I did worse than all of those numbers my first, first year... Also when I came back in '18. '18 was a banner year of $360.
Oh wow. I think you're the winner on this one Travis.
Fortunately I started off on the debit so I had a paycheck the first week. $135.00 per week gross ($872.00) in today's money. Only problem was I was making $160.00 per week at the job I left. I led my district the first year, maxed out the social security at the end of August.. My problem I was not able to manage money and spent more than I made no matter how much it was.
