EFES (Equita) is an actual company with a home office in Dallas. They have salaried employees staffing different departments (licensing, contracting, leads, marketing, recruiting, sales etc). Individual agents can reach out to these departments anytime for assistance. That's been a huge difference in my opinion. For better or for worse, a lot of the other IMO's referred to frequently are much more mom and pop style or out of someone's home in my experience.

I'm not sure how many agents or production EFES has compared to the rest. I appreciate the fact though that Equita always seems to reinvest into providing more and more resources for agents in the field.

Not sure if you're trying to poke or not, but we're "an actual company" too. We have salaried employees, etc, etc, etc.

As I said before.....

Sounds like you are just making shit up. I would hazard to guess that EFES writes more than you, FEX or 360, they certainly have a large staff. After that, really sounds like you are just stroking your own ego.

Everybody has an opinion on what's best. What's best for Bill might not be what's bet for Bob. Bill might need more hand holding than Bob. If that's the case, it might be better for Bill to take a cut in pay to offset the cost of training he will need, in order to get better.

I have been writing FE for close to ten years now. I believe, for the most part, the less people between me and the actual company who backs the policy, the better. I have never been on a ride along with anybody. I have three up lines and I speak with them maybe once a year, if that.

I am quite sure AARP has all kinds of nice big, flashy brick and mortar stores. I am also quite sure they have some of the most overpriced policies I have ever seen.

I spent 20 years in the car business. Many salesmen would bounce from store to store trying to find a better pay plan. I have found that many people in the FE industry do the same thing. Just because somebody has a better pay plan; or a bigger building; that doesn't necessarily equate to making more money.

Size might matter when your dealing with girls. I don't think its all that important for being successful in FE.

LOL....how am I making something up when I said that I didn't know to begin with? I said at the beginning that EFES was bigger than all the rest. I said that I think FEX might be writing more FE than us. I said I had no idea about 360. Is that not clear enough for you? Or is it that you are just trying to start shit?

No, you pontificated who was writing more, and then tried to turn it around when you got called out on it.

I have no idea who writes more, you, FEX or 360, and quite frankly it doesn't matter to me. But I noticed you trying to claim your group writes more than others.

I've noticed you doing this a lot lately, saying something, and then back tracking and trying to turn it around when you get called out on it.

These are all the things I said about this subject:

"You would have to get straight answers from all in order to compare fairly. I think you would have a little trouble with that."

"If I had to guess I would say that FEX does more than 360. I'm pretty sure that EFES does more than either of them, but can't swear to it."

"Not entirely sure. Somewhere below EFES. I think FEX might have outdone us this year, but not even sure about that."

"Not sure if you're trying to poke or not, but we're "an actual company" too. We have salaried employees, etc, etc, etc."

"As I said before....."

So please tell me where I back-tracked on anything. I did uses the words, "I guess.." and "Not entirely sure". So again, how did I backtrack on anything I said?

Are you just searching for something to argue with me about? So far your words hold no water.

That's not how I read it at all. I interpreted it as; he was merely trying to make an educated guess.

This is actually a very good post. I used to work with New York life which is bigger and does more in premium than everybody talked about combined 100 times over. They Have a beautiful office that I would go into each week with a ton of agents & staff members to go along with it. NONE of that meant nothing to my bottom line as it didn't line my pockets to have all that excess baggage. At the end of the year my income wasn't all that impressive. Sure, at that time I was young & naive to the biz and thought it was cool to have clients show up to the New York Life office high-rise and escort them to the nice office room to conduct our meeting which overlooked beautiful San Antonio. But at the end of each year my income was always lacking. They would preach to us that they were a AAA rated company and had billions in excess capital blah blah blah. Again, that means nothing to me and what I earn for my family. Several agents would buy into that hype however because that was important to them. Ironic part is MOST of those guys ended up failing outta the biz anyway because none of that "stuff" paid their bills. So when all the smoke clears the only thing that should matter is for you to place yourself in the place that you believe will give you and your family the best chance to prosper. If that means going to a brick and mortar office then so be it, if that means going with an agency with no support since you know everything about your line of work and don't feel you need help, then so be it ect ect. What's important to one person is not even on the radar to another person.
