Let's Hear It: Worst Cancellation or Non Taken Stories.

Well this happened over the weekend. Well it's not a chargeback, it's a fun story. I wrote a policy for a guy that was GI, the reason was that he had Alzheimer's disease. He was 83. That was over 2 years ago

Well the daughter calls me over the weekend all upset because she has a POA over him and didn't authorize this. The POA was 2 weeks old.

**facepalm**

I had a daughter cancel a STC plan and a Life policy and then put her dad in nursing home. Asked her why she said could not afford premium. Explained that premium would have gone away on STC once it was open to Claim. Oh, did not know. Can I get it back? NO!

I have a story similar to Fed Up. My FIL dies years ago and I invested all of their moneys for my MIL. It was spread between mutual funds and fixed annuities. The mutual funds were averaging well over 10% a year, but had one bad year and that caused my MIL concern. She asked me to move her monies and I would not because I knew that one bad year, or even two didn't mean she should panic. A guy from her church came by and moved all of her monies into something else, around $750,000. I have never seen what he done. I told her at the time to stop the transaction or piss me off. Well she chose to piss me off instead. Now I don't answer any question she ask. She has run out of money so I know she withdrew way more than she should have. She is now living on SS benefits and complaining all of the time that she hasn't got any money. So she has blown all of her money and recently she let her lesbian daughter move back in with her with her concubine so my wife probably won't inherit a dime. At one time the lady had plenty of money.

I don't agree with my SIL's lifestyle and don't like it when she brings her female friends around. We were visiting with my MIL the other night and the SIL came in and laid down on the couch. A few minutes later her friend came in and went straight over to her and they kissed. I just don't want to see that.

Got it.

I just did not understand the context relating to the MIL's money to Money.

If all of the money is really gone then all that is left is the home. If the SIL is occupying it at my MIL's death it will be hard to remove her so the house can be sold.

I hear similar stories like this in my new position. I really do wish people called experts like us or consulted with lawyers before doing stupid things.

Some of y'all have heard my bed bug story. It was not fun. I was in a house replacing a graded trans with Vantis and a Foresters with 5 star. He dipped. Nice premium. Like $150 a month. All the while dozens of bed bugs are crawling all over me.

Left that house spreading love and joy to every other appointment I had. Wrote another $125 a month in premium.

Was my first $3000 day in the field.

Then I finally figure out it was bed bugs and had to get the car fumigated. Twice.

Oh to top off all of that, every once of the 5 polices I wrote didn't make it to the first premium.

I did call the city health department on the bed bug couple. :/
