In the world of insurance these days, you never know who you are doing business with. I ran across this on NGL's webpage. Did LH get out of preneed or are they still selling it?

2011
May - National Guardian Life enters into a coinsurance transaction with Lincoln Heritage Life Insurance Company (Springfield, IL), effective January 2011, and acquired $137 million of reserves with 59,000 policies of preneed life and preneed annuities. NGL now provides financial peace of mind to over One Million Policyholders.
December - Consolidated statutory assets exceed $2.6 billion.

Old news. LH got out of preneed a while back.

New to me.. But then I am always a little behind the times. When you get old you move slower.. You'll learn about that one of these days young'un.

Old bull and young bull standing on a hill gazing down at all their cows. Young bull gets all excited and snorting, says to the old bull, let's run down there and get one of those cows. Old bull says, let just walk down there and get them all.

Old bulls rule.

You may have me in years but this bad back of mine is geting the best of me.

I had to knock off early today and come home. I was working an hour from home and I was home by 2:30. It's been improving steadily and looked like I could avoid surgery. It's taken a turn for the worse since Sunday.

Damm JD! You know any Kentuckian with back pain gets on full disability and back dated Medicare.

You need to lawyer up!

That's old news Rouse. Lincoln Heritage fizzled out of Preneed insurance and never became the huge player in it that they wanted everyone to believe. They couldn't hang with ForeThought, NGL and Homesteaders.

Actually that's not true. Sitting here at the desk is much more painful for my back than walking around.

It is much harder on your back sitting then it is moving around. However, driving long distances can be harder and more stressful on your back.

Take it easy JD and good luck with your recovery.

Telesales, ...lol yea give Greg a call!.:twitchy:
