Link Building

I think from what I've seen when checking geographical area keywords on P&C in several big markets, I haven't seen one city/state keyword maybe ever that when I looked at it I said, oh, there is no way I can be top of page 1 for that.

National is another game altogether.

You could take LA with just some smart citation and text work, might take a bit of work but it's not like ranking page one for "life insurance quotes" or something.

Well that's not completely true, Google largely just devalues the links. In any case that's what private blog networks are for.

I don't know what your time is worth and I don't know how much you're looking for clients in other parts of the country, but I would suspect not. I picked up a site over the weekend to target car insurance leads in California because it didn't look too daunting.
 
Well link building is one of the most effective used in marketing.Good thing about link building is that there is no need to exchange links , one can get direct traffic.
