Has or does anyone use PPC or Local Ad Link? I just signed up for Local Ad Link and am trying to see how people like it? From what I read, it looks really good, but I just want to see if anyone likes or dislikes it? It seems like pay per click but much cheaper..

Local Ad link is cool. I am actually marketing the product. I am going to do some advertising with them as well. If you have questions, let me know and I can explain the internet marketing in layman's terms for ya.

remoHello ALH-

Any info would be great! I signed up with it and picked the zip codes to be published in and if I understand it right, it is like a local PPC. Seems like a really great idea that I think will blow up eventually. I just tried to get in early and am trying to understand it better. I have gotten a few hits from it though, so a good start.

thanks

Four words to keep you away from Local Ad Link:

'Multi Level Marketing Scheme'

Complete with uplines, left and right commission structure, and all the rest of the crap that turns an honest business persons' stomach.

All they have is a replacement for the Yellow pages online without the brand recognition. How long do you think it will take to reach saturation with all these representatives annoying every business to advertise?

How many hits do you figure you get a week? Are you doing the 3, 10 or 50 zip codes? I want to do it but am not sure which one to start with. Any comments are appreciated.

I just signed up for the free account and I didn't get any with it. Don't think it is worth it.

Hi Gpaq.

Please don't post your affiliate/referral links in posts. It's against the forum rules.

I thought that was just a link to the "free accounts". I took them off though, thanks for the heads up.

Overpriced I say.

You can do much better with merchantcircle.com and others.

The key to this kind of stuff is SEO.

Type in pizza (in your city) and see if mylocallink pulls on first page.

Target your domain and keywords for your site towards your specific geographic location and build around that.
