Looking for an FE home

…at the end of the day it is NOT about high commissions; it is about great underwriting and renewals…
I agree with you on this. But I'm not a recruiter. When recruiters say it, it makes me want to hide my wallet!

…all the broker companies will lead you to be broke
When I was a sales manager at a captive company, I used to say (and believe!) that crap. I just didn't know what I didn't know. I'm glad I found out, though!

if you want to stay in the final expense game and make a lot of money. PM me for more information
Well, if you've got the "secret sauce", why not share it openly? If you do that right, you won't have to ask people to PM you.

Todd, what kind of renewals do you make? I was very successful in every direction I went…what's your renewals and persistency currently?

Also, what is the difference between Fex
Contracting and FFL?
@Todd King is an IMO. He's one of the good ones recommended in this thread. (I recommend him, too!). How much he makes in renewals is somewhat irrelevant. How much an agent makes would be more relevant. What kind of renewals do you make?:err:

One difference I see between FEX Contracting and FFL is that virtually nobody on these forums recommends FFL. But all the experienced FE agents recommend FEX Contracting over and over!

Another difference I see is agency structure. FFL is a MLM agency, which means they'll take on just about anybody that can get a license. As @Newby has stated before, FEX is more selective, and very careful to make sure an agent will be a good fit for their organization.

While all of that may be true most hard lessons are learned, not taught. As long as FFL releases then someone should give them a shot if it feels right for them. As long as they release then it's just tuition.

If they don't release then stay far away from them. That goes for any IMO that doesn't release.

I liken IMO's that don't release to MA "lock-in". I hate it there too. Most MA/MAPD problems would go away if there was no lock in and companies and agents had to earn people's business. IMO's need to earn the agent's business. Not force it on them.
