Wait Wait Wait Wait, JD = upline?

I hear JD is the biggest agency within FEX contracting… He is such a prolific recruiter that I understand he even has a side hustle recruiting basketball players for university of Kentucky.

But seriously, if you want to be a Final Expense specialist, then I would think you would want regular access to bona fide top producer. And I think that is the case no matter what type of approach to selling life insurance someone might want to pursue.

If I wanted to specialize in the business market selling buy-sell and business continuation plans, I would look for someone who has produced $1 million a year on his or her own pen, and who has taught others to do the same.

Unless you yourself are already doing it, then I would think it is best to join up with an agency that gives you access to a top producer who has also trained others to meet up producers. The two people I know not only to be top producers but who are also responsible for consistently helping others get there are Matt and JD. JD doesn't recruit, but he know what he's doing and has helped others do well.

What's the sayin? If you want to be successful surround yourself with others who are succeeding doing what it is you want to do.

Who are you recruiting for Tom? :)

Obviously not Todd.

In this scenario - I'm basically "recruiting" for the Trainer / Mentor since they will earn a nice % just by helping new agents / struggling agents succeed. Plus the "Trainee" gets in the field quicker with their Mentor and starts making money vs struggling . . .

The Trainee can work their way to Street Level contracts as quickly as they want. The % level of their contracts dictates the % of the Lead Cost they are responsible for . . .

A Trainer / Mentor overseeing 10 Agents that produce $5k a month in AP + 5 to 10 MA's a month can make some serious money with no risk or capital outlay.
