I am a licensed health agent doing employer benefits for 3 years. Not a heavy book of business as I am trying to go slow and steady in building the experience.
The other day I lost a group for their renewal stating that they got low rates with a different carrier by combining 2 of their groups to meet the participation rate.
Can any expertise please advise on how 2 groups are qualified to combine? As per my knowledge, they should have common ownership, if they don't have CO can they still do it?
