Management System Cost

I find it very interesting that you stated that my quote for QQ Solutions was not accurate since is the company I ended up going with. I was in fact quoted a 1200 fee to move from our old system to QQ and no start up fee if we do not transfer any data over. Maybe that's where clarification needs to be made.

Thanks for the input - clarification was in order - did they do a full data conversion for you?

Yes I am.

Agentrun is a new cloud based Agency Management System (or CRM if you'd like to call it that). It runs on any modern web browser and an iPhone / iPad app is on its way as well.

We're currently adding in support for Acord forms.

Another feature we're researching is automatic downloads from carriers (Ivans does this). The reason we're researching it is because be believe we have a better method for achieving those downloads and are building a service for it.

You do know there are a couple of true cloud systems that work with all platforms today? Good luck with the direct DL from carriers - I want world peace, but not getting it anytime soon.

We decided not to do the full data conversion. We didn't have a ton of information on our old system and since we were told that sometimes not all the data comes over, we didn't think the transfer was worth it.

Only a couple. Ive seen systems claim they run in the cloud but they only have portions that run there. Our system is fully cloud based. Has an API that runs in the cloud and a front end client thats distributed over a content distribution network. All our files are stored in a distributed and encrypted DB as well. We wanted to future proof the system as much as possible.

I'd like world peace too :-) We'll see if we can make it happen...

and why do you think you are first (and alone) in your design? I just spent 2 years working with QuikFuzion - I can assure you that is a true cloud app -

Never said it isn't. Im glad to see software companies building better solutions for this market. I think the real topic should be why more software shops aren't. I have respect for everyone who's trying to build cost effective solutions for agents today. I think every agent can agree that saving costs is a priority when building their book of business.

Then we agree to agree! I am with you on that statement - My only comment would be just identify that you have an interest in the company - that is all! Good luck with your venture!

At the get-go I work for AgencyBloc. Our application is designed specifically for health and life agents and agencies.

No set-up fees, No training /service fees ever, No long term contract. CRM only is $59/mo, with commission processing min. $158 ( 2 users )--$79 per additional users. There are volume discounts. Can add an AgentCRM users--typically designed for outside agents--for $29 but it is restricted to the user seeing own BOB only.

Regardless, it is all about the product features meeting the agency's needs. Sorry for the intrusion. This is my one and only post on this matter.

Visit us at AgencyBloc.com if you are interested.
