But you're not in calif right.... It's a form specific for this state. Americo is the only 1 requiring a signature on it tho.

Yeah I'm in Cali. I can see why they are your go to companies. I'm learning up on them.

Hey Todd, Aside from the extra forum what brings you down on Americo?I have never had an issue with them. Just curious.

Of course we all have our preferences. JD does not write below A-, I myself prefer not to write fraternals.

The few times I have used Americo I have been disappointed. They let you call in for a phone interview but then they always call the client later and get into phone tag. They are unpredictable with underwriting. I strongly prefer companies that give approvals at the point of sale.

That should read they won't let you call in for phone interview...

Man, I read that first paragraph and I am thinking yipee!

I have not had the PHI issue with them. I do not recall ever having a decline or plan change with them. Monumental is my nemesis on that. I also prefer doing PHI before I go or setting one up on mailed apps.

Same here. Monumental does amendments for sport.

I have the opposite experience with Monumental. I don't get any disappointments from them. I wish they would do POS interviews and approvals though.
