Monumental Direct Mail Drop

I mailed 2k with them and to date have received 14 back. I sent them out the end of february/first of march. that is .7% kiddos. I did 2k with Jenmarco at the same time and returned 24 I believe or 1.2%. Returns are notoriously bad here in Utah, and I can live with 1% +, but not .7. I actually have had better buyers off the Jenmarco leads as well. $300 is a great deal, but it takes forever to get the returns.

Sounds like Jenmarco is a MUCH better deal for the $$$ & have a better (more responsive) mailer....how much?

Id do my own mail if I could get 1.5%+, but in calif I wont...and 20% bump in commish doesnt justify spending $40/lead when I get them for $20!

Let's think about this logically. How can Jenmarco send out 1,000 pieces for $300 when the going rate is over $400?

I would never suggest they don't send out the full batch in order to cut the going price by over 25%. But I suggest the buyer beware.

Too many agents are looking for the lowest cost, rather than the highest qualify. If you order 1,000 pieces and want to be sure that 1,000 are mailed, contact Chris at The Lead Connection.

Paying $300, 350, or 420 doesn't matter. Lead costs is not an expense - it's generates your income.

Just as a list is not a lead, you need to start looking for quality rather than cheap.

Hey TDF I got your message but it won't let me respond because I don't have 20 posts yet. Once I do I'll send a reply.

Who in the heck is Jenmarco??? seriously, I tried to find info on them and nothing comes up... Their website requires registration and gives no info....

My favorite line....."When you buy on price you buy twice"

Ins co. A $300 cost 5 lead cards 4 weeks after drop
Ins co B $345 cost 6 lead cards 6 weeks after drop ( 2 of lead cards over age over 85 )

Independent mail house $420 6 leads within 2 weeks.

I expect more leads from Independent mail house...

The 2 ins co lead programs will never be used again....

Rick is right its not the saving of few dollars, its having the opportunity to get in front of more people...

I gotta check your math here. Assuming your selling $2000 in AP a week on a 9 month advance with 20 leads at 80% comp.

20x$20/lead = $400 in lead cost
($2000 x .75 x .80) - $400 = $800 net profit per week

Same scenario but 100% comp and $40 lead costs.

$800 in leads
($2000 x .75 x 1.00) - $800 = $700

So you gotta probably sell $2300 in AP and over a week for it to be a better deal.

But then i guess getting street level comps at $26/lead is a real good deal:D

Yeah $40+/lead and getting them inconsistently for maybe $100-200 more commish? PASS!!

You are an *** then too. In every other industry a list is considered leads. It's us dumbass agents that ruined it for the list, er I mean lead, sellers.

Jenmarco was $385 per 1,000. Monumental was $300. The returns are about right, when I was with Equita they told me .7 to 1% on the high side here in Utah.
