Monumental Life

Can we get back to it? This bickering over a bunch of guys chasing up and down a hardwood square dressed like a bunch of girls chasing a round ball is boring. If you are going to talk about playing ball, at least you coudl talk about a real sport played with one that is pointed on the ends.

Isn't that more refreshing that a bash JD war?

Bashing JD and Greg has become a world class sport.. especially when they take on each other.. It is going to be featured event in the next Olympics... Winter Games ...because some of the comments can be really cold!

Hey, keep 'em coming. I'm a big boy and I can take it. I was a local union President and vice president for 9 years. Not too many insults are cherries to me.:1wink:

I know you can take the heat. JD, I never told you that my wife's grandpa was an early UMW organizer down in Eastern Kentucky and had to flee for his life a few times.

I like watching the jdeasy bashing also. Only because it makes the other person look stupid. Although I am starting to connect the dots of him being a recruiter. Just look at his username. It has half of EFES name in it, E and S. I am catching on to the subliminal messages....

I had a great uncle that was one of the first Presidents of the AFL. Not the AFL-CIO, the AFL before they merged. He was killed while organizing a union.

There is a nice monument to him in his hometown of Fredericksburg, Va. I ended up working for the AFL-CIO for 11 years. What a coincidence!

This was fun for a while, not so much now.

Can we get Rick and Al going at it again?

Those days are history.

My wife is terribly, terribly ill and I only have time to read this board every so often, but no time to engage. I believe she will be OK, but the road ahead is long and winding and fraught with perils.

As the old 1973 NY Mets fan would say, "Ya gotta believe."
