Can someone please tell me what is the nursing home rider with Monumental? I can't seem to find its purpose anywhere in their materials.

Thanks.

Ron

I think it means that the beneficiary can cash in part of the policy early if the insured is confined to a nursing facility.

It kicks in the Accelerated Death Benefit. Instead of just a terminal illness, confinement to a nursing home will do it.

[FONT=Verdana,Arial,Helvetica,sans-serif]Terminal Illlness- If applicant becomes terminally ill (less than 12 months to live) they can access up to 80% of their policy.
Nursing Home- If applicant requires continuous confinement in an eligible Hospice or Nursing Home and is expected to be there for the rest of their life, they can access up to 80% of their policy.

Disclaimer: see policy for details. Subject to change without notice. This may not be accurate at all. I'm not really sure about this. Read all warnings and details before use, Do not use if seal is broken.
