At 15 minutes on hold trying to handle a customer's beneficiary question, I hung up and decided I wouldn't do business with their trifling asses again.

It's gotten worse, Monumental. Get your act together already and work on adding to your Service Team.

they do suck with that. the worse is when you wait 15 min and then they tell you... " I guess no one is going to answer, try again later" .... i paraphrased.

I will say this. For a long time I was calling the Des Moines office, and they were great. Then one day one of the sales guys told me that my agent number is actually set up for the upline with the LA office. So I start calling them for my questions and that office can be horrendous. I miss the Des Moines office.

So sometimes if I have an important question and want to talk to someone that is nice, I'll still call the Des Moines office.

I've worked with Monumental and they can be a pain to deal with sometimes.

Their underwriters are great from my experience. timely and easy to get a hold of.

most errors and amendments can be avoided with good paper work.
