I saw where their Living Promise is taking place of the Whole Life Express on 06/01/2013. I heard that their initial offering of this product was nothing to be excited about but also heard that they have re-vamped the product and underwriting to make it easier to place clients with them. Anyone have any recent dealing with this product and if so how simplified was it?

It's ok, kind of overpriced and nothing really stands out about it. Much better options out there in my opinion. They do have a $40,000 max face amount which can help sometimes, but usually I can find a better rate through someone else.

I wrote three cases with them in one week. They required telephone interviews with two of them. They had me reask several questions on two of them.

I called the underwriter and ask "what happens of they answer the questions the same way? I was told that do to the RX check it indicated further questions but then told me "if the applicant still answered the same" that the policy would not be issued . So I am thinking,"well why in the hell bother to reask the questions then."

I withdrew all three cases and they have been issued with Monumental. So on my limited experience with them, simplified issue? Not so much

Being told to re-ask a question is underwriter speak for, "We didn't like your first answer, now give us a different one."
