National Life of Vermont

Brokers Alliance markets a term product that does what your talking about.
It also has a critical illness feature with it.

I believe it also can be written as an UL or an indexed UL.

Roll Tide!

What states is this approved in?

I am going to bet there is some LTC underwriting of some sort when the details come out. Even Penn Treaty did underwriting and look where they are at.

I often get marketers that pump their products up by saying no LTC underwriting as its a life policy. When it gets down to it, if LTC benefits are offered, they underwrite for LTC. And the worst thing IMO, is not knowing to what extent. Then its a crapshoot.

Chronic illness benefits are another story. Those can be attained as an "add on" benefit and no underwriting other than life.

No LTC underwriting.
Name one other company that will insure someone for LTC benefits with a diagnosis of MS. Name one other company that will insure someone for LTC benefits who's using a 4-prong cane.

Now, if you're talking about someone with Parkinson's or Alzheimer's, that's a different story because those conditions are a mortality issue as well.
