National Life of Vermont

Interesting. I have a feeling its gonna be a challenge to make it attractive because of price at certain ages.

True and keep in mind that my thoughts were to offer this to those with mild, non-debilitating MS. Although LTC underwriting is not the issue, MS for life insurance is usually a table 3, which is a rate of 175% above standard. So, on a good day, premiums are very high.

However, offsetting that is those who are diagnosed with MS are usually in their late 30s or early 40s.

But, for someone with MS, who is looking for LTC coverage:

"Here's the deal, this is the premium. There are no other options and if affordable, take out your checkbook!"

I hope it works for you.
I've found that the strength of one's denial is directly proportional to the seriousness of one's chronic illness.

.

Totally in agreement in most situations.............
However, if someone with a diagnosis of MS is in denial about winding up in a wheelhair and needing care down the road, then mental illness must also be part of their medical condition.
