Need a Final Expense Company That Fits Me

I do but I don't accept agents that want to sell over the phone. Quickest way to go broke in my opinion.

Chris Westfall was very good at it and owned the website "sell final expense by phone" and last time I talked to him the only way he knew to end up with a million dollars selling FE by phone was to start with five million dollars. It does NOT work for most agents. (Greg is the exception not the rule.)

If you want to sell by phone, Med Sups and term life are your better products.

I'm sorry. Not necessarily. See, most agents fail at FE by phone because they are trying to do it from home and lack the discipline to dial. Most agents, and I may get blasted here and I can handle that; try to do telesales because they think it is easier than field sales. It's not. It's the same if not harder. They can't stay focused. I tell them that right from the get go. 90% failure rate outside of an office setting. Not because it can't be done but because they don't work it properly.

EX: you knock on lets say 5 doors and no one is home. How long does that take to do on average? (dep on territory) 30-40 mins? Now...dial 5 leads and no one answers. How long does that take? 5 mins? Same thing. Just "knocking on more doors" in a much, much shorter amount of time. Agent gets bored/side tracked and easily talks himself into things that are "more important" and will come back to the phone. When in reality...they don't.

We realized early on that the key to proper telesales is a call center, the right leads and NEWLY lic'd agents. Veteran agents regardless of where they call from cannot do telesales. Sorry guys. I've seen it first hand. Our top agents sell in the office and are lic'd under 2 years. Listen...if anyone is considering telesales for FE do everyone a favor including yourself. Get in a call center. Do it full time. And PLEASE...send a couple bucks for leads?

THEN....it works.

Works for the person making the over rides but not for the producing agent. To this date there has not been one single agent get on here and say they are making it in FE as a producing agent by telemarketing.

There have always been plenty of marketers telling those fables but never from the horse's mouth. Not just hare at the forums, anywhere. I have spoken to dozens of agents that tried it and the story is the same with all of them whether they were new to insurance or seasoned vets. I have heard about hundreds and the story is always the same.

Greg is the only person that's ever said he makes it work as a producer but he is everywhere there is as an outlet recruiting.

John, John, John. I actually had a long response but it's like talking to a wall with you. See, I'm not a marketer. I'm not just a recruiter. I actually DO sell every week my friend. Plus...I rarely, rarely hire any agents outside the office. I agree...it doesn't work for most. But my team do actually sell brother.

Now...I know, I know...you're all knowing, never wrong and no one else's opinion but some of the million dollar posters on here you agree with. It's all good. But you or anyone else are more than welcome to stop in in Cbus and eat a bit of crow? It's like a gospel chorus with agents selling and having fun and our marketers developing the most qualified leads in the industry. See I can say that also because we don't sell our leads to outside agents so no lug here.

Just letting you know...we are infact selling. It is being done. But I know you will still doubt that because you are always right. Always all knowing.

Now I know you're going to respond like a bat out of hell. To go back and forth with you is typically a waste of time and I think you actually get off from the drama so say what you have to say. I have to move on.

Good day John. Hope your well.

You say you don't sell leads to outside agents, but your site contradicts you

The last thing you want is to run into me face to face.. You are simply not telling the truth here. Of course that is your MO and always will be. You do not produce now nor have you ever.

You are a FOS marketer with a napolean complex.

Dead give away on this Davis group site, we cover just about everybody and on one simple application with no mention of rates. On the contract signing page it has SL as the company...:D

Enough said...this guy is full of BS and I am with JD and calling this guy out.

As I've said a few times before, I do NOT wish to recruit anyone from this forum for tele-sales unless they live here in Raleigh, NC and can be here full-time only. In fact a regular up here on the forum who lives here in Raleigh came by today for an interview and is joining my team. He saw the production board, the cubicles, etc. Maybe he'll join this conversation if he sees the posts.

Anytime you or anyone else who doubts the validity of tele-sales is more than welcome to visit me and my team here at my office.

My top producer last week did write $5385.12 all in the field. He tried tele-sales for 2 weeks and did horrible. He does very well in the field.
