i applied for appointment as independent agent with Mutual of Omaha but 2013 I was convicted of misdemeanor battery and DUI. Will this hinder me from getting approved with them?
Need best answers ASAP???

I got approved by the state already for my license.. I’m trying to get appointed now

I'nm sure they'll want to see court documents etc. for consideration. Did you forward all that along with your contracting?

No . I sent a written explanation and they are pulling my background check

Okay. I've know of other agents that had to provide documents showing matter fulling resolved

Yes, and pretty much all other carriers if you answer YES to their background questions
As Matt stated earlier since you answered Yes to the question and all that was provided was a letter of explanation. I wouldn't be surprised if they asked to see court documents. If you haven't already, I would start gathering just in case
