Austin Tx. I still have 13 weeks to go but I was just trying to get some others peoples input into what I could possibly do better.
I also did get some orphan clients this week that I will be working on once I get my tom tom back from my neighbor.
Didn't say I believed him just trying to get some ideas from someone who is actually working for them. Did you have anything constructive to add or was that it?
I validated this contract many years ago, and one trick, that was employed by many trying to validate was to write as many apps as possible, close to the end of the validation period. Even if the policies are subsequently cancelled the week, after you have validated, it will not impact your validation status. This is not really sneaky or "dirty", as long as they are legitimate apps. The company is aware of this, and they also know that some will stick. I signed on quite a few people that said they were just doing me a favor, and didn't plan to keep the policy. Many of them are policy holders to this day, eventhough that was several years ago. I just heard from one of these former clients this week, asking questions about the policy that was "just to help me" 7 years ago.
Understandably you don't want to try and sell them. Fair enough, but you should work them.
Make up your list and visit with each of them. Don't push them to buy, instead make it a session where you educate them on what you are doing and ask for there help in your success.
Make them into centers of influence. Work them for referrals. Who do they know who a) might be able to refer business to you b) might need you services, like someone who is planning a family.
holy crap, lozano, I am in austin as well, I know your manager and admire him . I don't think he would let you flounder around. they don't give you a book of business -like they did for me in 1991?
oops, lozano, just heard thru the grapevine that maybe you have a new manager and maybe I do not know who it is... anyhow, update us on your progress. good luck. if i can help you in anyway, just holler....
