New Royal Neighbors Rates

Ok, I got the email now....it went to my junk mail folder, thats funny cause none of their 15 emails a month on ULs never go to my junk mail folder.

But there's no new agent or rate guide attached, nothing...just says its changing June 10th. Were the rates attached?

Mine had the new agent guide with the rates attached.

Suppose they'll split it with you, or try to stick you with the whole thing?

I doubt there will be much negotiation. I've seen nothing in writing about the new commission schedule.

I imagine we will get new emails everyday with a correction from the previous day.

I never used them before so it doesn't matter much to me. Have never found much use for them.

1 thing I noticed is that the min is now $5k instead of 3k....I couldve use that today.

I never sold a policy for less then 5k except to 80+ yr olds, but this lady was only 70 & INSISTED that shes only paying for the cremation period...no service, no extras, nothing. So she said 3k was more then enough even though I tried to persuade her to get at least 5k.

This was 1 of my No-Shows from last week & it was no worth going back to have her lil rat dog jump in my lap & sit there while she (the dog) passed gas every 5min or so for 90min for a measley $17/mo. But hey, thats the FE biz!

From the looks of your photo you were well prepared for the gas.:D

Congrats on the sale every on counts!

Ok ppl, Ive done the work for you, here's the skinny.....

RNA's new rates Vs Old rates & Competitors-

NT
50-60yr olds...they are not even competitive in the age group. UHL & Monu STANDARD beat their rates in this age group.

60-75....decent, esp for women, but rarely, if ever came out lowest. Competitive? Yes, but unless there's a specific health issue that only RNA can issue, others are still a lil lower.

75+....refer to 50-60yr olds, not really competitive here again, UHL or anyone else would be a better choice most times, if not all.

Tobacco

They were never really competitive here to begin with, esp for males, but were ok for younger women.

Rates for 50-60yr olds again took a huge increase...wouldnt use.

Rates for 60+ males dropped, they are somewhat competitive here, but by far not the lowest still.

Females ALL ages increased...wouldnt use them here either

Bright Spot- They did add a legal help benefit to the benefit package, so with that its MUCH better then Foresters benefits...problem is Foresters pricing is now better in MOST scenarios. (eat your heart out nfl)

Question Mark- The new RNA Agent guide has no drug knockout list, I dont know why....does anyone? Are we suppose to guess now? Carry both & use the old one or what?

Conclusion- From what I an tell, RNA will go from getting about 65% of my biz to about 20-25% and that % maybe high!

Have at it!

Something else they added to the member benefits is $200/yr in premium assistance.

As for the drug list, it's the same except that they took two meds off the list.

This actaully not as bad about RNA as we were led to believe at the conference. That's surprising.

But, they will get less of my business. But what goes elsewhere will not go to UHL or Monumental. I would ratehr give a client the phone number to LH than to UHL. Monumentals rates are just as bad as the bad RNA rates now. And you have to deal with Monumental. Tp quote the late, great Frank Statsny, "I would rather walk thru the broken glass barefoot than to deal with..." insert name, {in this case Monumental}.
