New Royal Neighbors Rates

5 Star doesn't have a drug list and they don't do an Rx check.

That is the best reason I've ever heard that i haven't seen one. So, if the client tells me lyrica for restless legs then I should proceed?

No rx check, that is a good thing... I swear I swear I can find a way to confuse myself DAILY.

I can't find a place on the 5 Star where I would list what meds they take.

I ask the questions on the app and if they say "no" to everything then it's preferred and we get on the phone and let Apptical ask the same questions.

They don't do anything Rx check, but you also don't wanna place a client with a carrier where they couldn't honestly answer no to all of the questions.

How do you know whether they answer any question honestly?

Americo asks about neuropathy & complications with diabetes too.... Anytime the client has some issues with that, I wouldn't use Americo, so if 5Star asks, u might wanna use a diff carrier.

We shall see....
I suppose 3 corrections is enough huh?

Something else they added to the member benefits is $200/yr in premium assistance.

As for the drug list, it's the same except that they took two meds off the list.

This actaully not as bad about RNA as we were led to believe at the conference. That's surprising.

But, they will get less of my business. But what goes elsewhere will not go to UHL or Monumental. I would ratehr give a client the phone number to LH than to UHL. Monumentals rates are just as bad as the bad RNA rates now. And you have to deal with Monumental. Tp quote the late, great Frank Statsny, "I would rather walk thru the broken glass barefoot than to deal with..." insert name, {in this case Monumental}.

Whats wrong with UHL? I've been pretty happy with them.

Too high priced, too strict underwriting and they are Farm Bureau. Should have led with the Farm Bureau thingy.:1wink:

They're cheaper than Monumentals standard rates- you get a client on basic HBP or cholesterol only with no major health issues and they get some of the best rates in the market

Blindfold them, spin them around 3 times & then ask them the questions....whatever answer they give, check they opposite answer & thats the truth! LoL :swoon:

Im not a big fan of UHL either...in fact, I took them out of my bag & left it in my car when I added 5Star & SNL.

But in some scenarios, UHL def came out less then RNAs new rates...from what I could tell, I will be using Foresters more again now!
