Newbie and My First 7 Months, Pass or Fail?

Do I deserve a pass or fail grade?

Maybe it's not you that needs to be graded/evaluated...maybe the "vehicle" you've chosen to take you where you want to go is lacking.

It's not that you can't be successful with Colonial and/or selling health, but is that the right "vehicle" for you at this moment in your insurance career?

Very good point.

I have to thank all of you for your input in this forum. I am in a situation much like Labman, that is, I had a previous career and now find myself struggling in insurance. I have seen success come quickly to some while I have worked twice as hard with half the results. Its frustratingbut I have few other choices. I have been encouraged by the advice given here and hope you will continue along these lines.

Do an introduction post and tell us about your sitituation. There people on here who can advise and help you. Thanks for joining us!

My precious experience in real estate is helping me stand strong. The first year was horrible, but by the third year I was rolling along pretty good. There is a ton of stuff to learn in this business which makes it pretty hard to be an overnight success. But, I learn something new on every appointment that helps me on the next one. Recently, I've had deals fall through that an experienced agent would never have let happen. It's just a matter of time and successs will come.
