Hopefully these folks purchased a 2015 policy on the marketplace without accepting any APTC. They can claim it in 2016 when doing their 2015 tax return, if they come in under 400% of the FPL.

I have a LOT of people who are just fed up - EPO networks in my area are slim and acceptance spotty - premiums for anyone who does NOT accept a "subsidy" is cost prohibitive - they played by the rules and just got by a large new unexpected bill for a "subsidy repay" - to go along with the higher deductibles and co-insurance costs they had to meet out of pocket all thru 2014 and have just had it. A "tax fine" does not scare them now since that fine was deemed noncollectable by the Supreme Court in 2012 (unless you got a tax return or paid it voluntarily) and most of my clients are small self employed businesses who never get taxes back. I see a HUGE push back born from disgust - anyone else hearing this?

The tax fine is minimal compared to the subsidy repay + lack of acceptance = some are looking at Defined Benefit plans and Christian Ministry coverage - others want short term to see what the Supreme Court does in June - what they don't want is to be part of anything connected to Obama
those people are racist and need to be arrested on some sort of hate crime..... the hate must stop....

Racism has NOTHING to do with the dislike of a politician - or his policies. It is getting very old and tired that when a American does not like or agree with Obamacare or like Mr Obama's position on any one of a dozen new policies they are suddenly "racist" - that is a HUGE cop out - many consumers do not want to be part of this government take over of the health insurance industry and for a person to suggest that shows they are "racist" is looking for a excuse - "you are racist" is the easiest path. My clients don't care if Mr Obama is black white or purple - they don't want anything to do with this massive social experiment called "Obamacare" - ACA or Health Bill - it costs them too much and it is punitive to personal and business success - you just took it somewhere else
Hope they have enough cash to pay for chemo upfront when the hospitals laugh at the Christian Ministry coverage. (I really hate these companies that prey on Christians and their distrust and hatred of Obama and Obamacare)
The tax fine is NOT the issue. Going without coverage is. Defined Benefit and Christian plans are not a responsible choice.
