No Questions Asked Insurance (Term, Graded, Etc.)

Well I am sure that's comforting to your clients!! Way to do the best thing for your client!

We all donate our time helping people. Some make a point of posting how charitable they are, most of us just do it.

Many (many, many, many) years ago I had a GA say to me, "It does your clients no good to have you go bankrupt."

While I still try to find the lowest cost, best coverage for my clients, I have to pay my mortgage and feed my family (not to mention my 3 dogs).

Thanks for your input Mother Teresa. If I want spiritual guidance I'll attend church!

BTW... I notice you're on a board that discusses how to make money in the insurance business. Why aren't you dispensing your valuable advice to the various charities that could use your help?

Never mind... I already know the answer!

Yep... we're here to make money.

I have a policy of one free help per person. For the most part they end up with some sort of commissionable product on the books with me beyond a PDP.

I've helped several with PDP and other problems under the idea and conversation that I'd get the medsupp business on the next renewal. If they balk at renewal... their file gets sealed and they've burned any additional help.

Had a nice conversation with a person's son after I'd assisted a couple of times. Came time to get the supp... NO DICE. NOT CHANGING. Well that came full circle the next time he needed help... NO DICE... CAN'T HELP. I kindly informed him I get paid from products clients have through my office... no products... no pay. I help those clients that help me make a living. "The phone number you need to call is on the back of the card your mom has." End of conversation.

Just got off the phone with another one that will probably end this same way. Helped with a few problems, now its time for the supp... they're balking.

It doesn't happen often, but it's a bummer when it does.

Thanks all for helping. If it weren't for the wife asking if I can try to find a product, I did walk away. She just want some insurance for the guy and just enough to cover Final expenses, like $10K. She can give me the SS# and all his personal stuff, but he won't answer any of the questions. So, I just thought that I try to see if I can at lease help her get a small policy to cover him. Believe me, I think she's kind of at her last straw yelling at him about this.

Does Columbian and Presidential go below 50 Y.O. I would write even Americo Ultra III or Presidential, but it's 50 and over. The guy is 42 Y.O.

Wow! Really? There wasn't much spiritual in what I said. Touchy much?

and what board would that be? I'm really curious, seeing that i haven't been on any other boards in a few months. Not that it really matters much. What's your point exactly? Other than the fact that your statement shows how much you worry about padding your wallet vs. truly helping your clients. Sure, everyone needs to make money, with this I agree... but if you have something that is $xxx vs. a company you can't write that is $xx amount.... seriously, giving up one hard to place case to do whats better for the client.... give it up. Not to mention, so you couldn't help this one client... it shows trustworthiness, so who do you think he would refer to you because you're HONEST?!

To begin with, this is not a hard to place case. It is a potential client that is an ass! I'm also not touchy at all. I'm just not the type of person that allows a random stranger to assume they know what I'm about, when they are infact completely clueless.

And I absolutely do pad my wallet, but I do it while helping my clients. If I'm sending business somewhere else, then I'm no longer helping my client am I? The rest of what you said doesn't make a whole hell of a lot of sense, so I'll skip it.

BTW... To answer your last question about "who do I think he will refer business to because I'm honest?" He will refer business to the agent that writes his policy (if he's any good) Not to the agent that referred the agent, that wrote his policy. Is this just a hobby for you?

I'm clueless? hmm. Is this my hobby? Is acting like a douchetard your hobby?

Only when provoked by a retard, such as yourself! And yes, you are completely clueless about what I believe and who I help.

You don't know me and you don't know my clients. Keep that in mind, next time, before taking potshots at random strangers and maybe they won't see you as the arrogant ass that I see, but I doubt it!

Far from arrogant and retarded, but to each their own.

I simply commented on your choice of words, that imply you worry about your wallet first. You are the one that took straight up the arse.
