In my posts I am not speaking on behalf of NASB. (But I threw my screen name up as NASB) Nor do I work on the administrative side. (Yet I will speak of all percentages and rankings with carriers) I am speaking on behalf of people who understand the value of a system. (But I keep spouting my personal performance) The wrong coach calling the wrong plays doesn't make it to the playoffs.(My owner speaks in sports metaphors and I can repeat them) Our training and support system has changed the lives of many(some for better and some for worse) in the short time we've been around and will continue to change many lives. (We are still new and benefit only some, but not everyone as I have alluded to before)

Whatever your issue is with your manager is not my business, but I know none of you are on mine team.
(Mine team is code for the people that have not yet been hit by any potential negatives that may or have come from being affiliated with said company)


My thoughts:

Just so we are straight, he did produce 9605 as he mentioned (great job) and I am a weakling because I have never produced over 9512.......however, the truth is the truth and it has been skated here.
"If you can't succeed here you cant succeed anywhere".... is a line mentioned over and over, just don't duck that...it's great motivation.
There is power and knowledge in the those calls and motivation to not get publicly outed for not working.....but, that is not for everyone. Some (maybe many) actually 1099 because they want to be masters of their schedule and produce when they want to. Some, may not want their mediocrity pointed out, and some (like myself) want to have their mornings to themselves, then hit the pavement to crush it by 10 am.
I do acknowledge you have not responded in a while which signifies that the upper management slapped you for representing them when they prefer to stay out of the public eye....but, I thought I'd drop my small widget of knowledge on the issue. Love ya pumpkin'!,...not really It just seemed like an appropriate sign off at the time.:1wink:

Upper management hasn't said a word. I've just realized when I took a step back that responding to these theories presented by guys who aren't living the dream they are preaching isn't worth my reputation nor my companies. After finding out the inner workings of 360, I am even more confident in my system. No one censors The Rock, but The Rock.

Forgive me if I misspoke as to management correcting your course.

I get it, and praise your composure on stepping back if that is the case. 360 has a market and it is strong, just like you folks have a market. There is no one coat fits all in FE (in my opinion). One fits for me and it was not NASB. (I didn't intend to rhyme)
Spewing "one is all for everyone" is nonsense, Ben is my boy and I will get his back all day as I did your production. I usually keep my trap shut, but have been exposed to a non release from NASB, and that is wrong after they say they will freely release. It is just a nod to some dishonest nature that is prevalent there, so I thought I might have some knowledge here.
I will throw an asterisk down as I prefer 360's program, and have looked at a few. I learned plenty, heard plenty and wish them well....but they are not "if you can't make it here, you won't make it anywhere." Nor is anywhere else.

I like the rock comment, but Craig would silence you in a moment if he wanted to. Not a put down, just a statement on his definitive nature.

Other than the call (which is a joke)... What does nasb have that's better than 360? We respond to anything while you refuse to answer many questions I've posted here.

He already told NASB's features:
1) not so good training
2) expensive leads
3) same leads an agent gets anywhere else
4) HUGE cut in commissions

They do 800k per week yet they have 250 active agents. So everyone writes 3200? Why is there only 80 people on the newsletter writing 3k?

And a heads up for a new group out of Dallas...."Game Changing Benefits". I heard their commissions will be 150% plus unlimited training, unlimited use of cool nicknames, management opportunities within 2 months, office space, $15 A leads, $0 cost for leads over 30 days old. Oops, sorry, I think I added an extra zero on the commission level...

We have the one thing you guys don't have which is a system. Granted, for a guy like you, me or the burrito bandit, who can go out and write 6-12k a week, no problem... sure. You're opportunity has an advantage because it pays more...

However, for someone who is struggling to write 3-4k a week. Guess what brotha? You're going to have your hands FULL with that agent or he's gone. Now multiply that by 10. By 20. See you don't have a system for him to fall back on. You don't have a motivational daily support (other than YOU) to provide for these people to make them do the #1 thing life agents struggle with... getting out the door in a timely manner with a positive attitude. With belief.

Why does the average life agent in the country make $37k? Mainly because they work part time! Our training here is phenomenal. I'll tell you exactly what my training consists of... Ride along (as many times as needed), I have an audio file of my presentation and door approach, a video.. and scripts. Then we have all of the NASBnation videos. And MOST IMPORTANTLY we have the morning call. See you see it as Rah Rah.. I see it as a way I can train my 29 agents on new products... little tiny details about carriers and the MILLION other things new people need to know about this industry. I'm as committed to this business as you are brother, but I'm not going over EVERY LITTLE METICULOUS DETAIL with every person I bring on. There's too much to cover. Everyday not only do they get the Rah rah THEY NEED to get their ass out the door, but their are getting invaluable product knowledge, closing techniques and approaches.

I spoke with the manager who left NASB for about an hour on the phone and I can tell you right now that I'm more confident with what we've got than ever. Not to take anything away from him, he's a great guy, but I said "when you have a conference, whose gonna run it?" ... crickets. It's just him and his guys. Ben, It's you and your guys. Why are our commissions lower, because you get Craig Harvey in your back pocket. You get the entire staff, support, but remember YOU CAN EARN YOUR WAY TO 115%+. The deadly mistake you have made is wanting more NOW without working for it. Both of you have expressed desires to leading massive teams to the promise land and bettering people's lives. Well with your model, you better be very very careful what you wish for...

You see, IF you guys ever get to a point where you've brought on and successfully trained up and gotten a start on lets just say 60 agents... You now have to TRUST 5 layers below you deep on managers that they are doing the right thing all the time. Saying the right thing and leading these people the way YOU WANT YOUR TEAM LEAD. That gives me a queasy feeling in my stomach. Because I don't trust all people to do and say everything to lead a team the way I want it lead. And guess what, I won't have that problem. Because I get to count on the likes of Jordan Smith and Craig Harvey to lead my team, no matter how deep. When I can't be there EVERY SECOND OF EVERY DAY, The NASB system is. Along with all of the other greats who have done it at such a high level in such a short time. Gary Keith, Keith Thomason, Tony, Chris, Don Fransco... brother the list is endless over here at people my team can lean on at anytime, for anything.

New guys with you will DEMAND your time, because you can't plug them into anything. With my 29 agents I am on the phone all day and night it seems. I give them the time. But there's no way I could handle 60. Now bro, you may be able to handle that for so long... but then you have to trust that your "managers" are just as committed and on the same page as you. Fail to give the time, and watch them come to someone and someTHING, that will.

NOT TO MENTION, my friend, that 360s pockets aren't deep enough to handle 500 agents on mailer leads at $26 a pop. Whoops, you guys just grew to $1000. Never gonna happen bro. Not even the manager who has known the CEO of 360 for 6 years could tell me he had pockets deep enough.

The Milners are one of the elite families of this world. Do the research.
