Pacemaker

Male NT 62. Pacemaker placed 26 months ago. $25k face. Is on cholesterol meds and ateno for the pacemaker.

Any suggestions?

Two more candidates would be MoO's Living Promise and UHL Premier, both would be about $114/mo. UHL requires the phone call, while MoO doesn't (they'll occasionally call someone but I haven't had it happen to a 62 year old yet). Of course, like mentioned earlier... how an individual underwriter interprets the atenolol may play into whether it's considered 'treatment' for a heart condition or just BP meds.

Said I can't get them at all if my resident state is Mississippi.

That's odd...I'd think that if you're licensed in a state they're in that you'd be able to contract with them. I don't know who you talked to, but try Drew Batten @ (402)557-6119. He's the Central Regional Director. Good guy that'll at least be able to explain why they won't contract you(if they won't).
