I have someone disabled in New Jersey on plan C paying 249 per month
    The going rate is 135.00
He called UHC and they told him it was because he was married
and another similar reason. Made no sense to him.
What would happen if I just sign him up and submit the application with the new rate

Are you sure the rate isn't due to being disabled. I know that rate is usually higher.:nah:

His premium's so high because he's got a Disability Med Supp.

When will he be Turning 65? That'll be when he can get it for less.

What do you mean by the "going rate"?

could be under 65, could be he and wife both on plans getting taken from same account (they combine premiums), Could be he is over 3 years past 65 years old and part b start date and getting level 2 premium, He could always be confused.

Need to do fact finding questions, or provide more info in post if you have it

From UHC's answer it sounds like they are both on the plan. UHC combines payment.

If I look at the rate for a disabled under 65 it comes up, to be exact, 173.35
There are no health questions that would cause him to be higher.
His wife is not on policy.
    He is paying 245.00\
His rate is not higher because he is disabled,
it is a rate for anyone under 65

Must be much different in your state then. In FL a plan F for a T65 is around $180. For under 65 it's at least $600. I can't see how an under 65 plan for a supplement can be that cheap

If he has Medicare and is U65, then he has a disability Med Supp. Those are usually priced as though they're 99 years old.
