Talk about moving goal posts. Total Population and Total Covid deaths = Death rate. Anything else is making excuses.

Yes, if you want to reject actual science and just spew numbers that don't account for relevant variables, that's the way to go. It works decent for things like 3rd grade word problems.

If you want to account for variables that affect death rates and actually take an honest look how states "did" in battling COVID, you look at data that accounts for those variables.

Data like this:

Any demographic variables were more than compensated for by Florida's manipulation of covid reporting. We don't care that sun and sand handicapped Florida because they cause covid. We could scrub data from any reports to paint a prettier picture of any jurisdiction, but total population/total deaths is the global standard. Furthermore, your chart intentionally cuts off the source or footnotes, which makes it meaningless.

The "manipulation" story that was disproved? You're already moving into conspiracy theories? That was fast.

"Total population/total deaths" is only a standard for people who have no idea what they're talking about. This obviously includes you.

An older population with more comorbidities would be expected to have more deaths with the exact same policies. Duh. That's why you adjust for things like that. It's called science. Get you some.

Post the link for your chart so we know the source and explanation of the variables. It's likely from RonDSesantis.com. As for covid comorbidities on a global scale, being a Florida citizen was the number 1 comorbidity.

And no, the graphic isn't "intentionally" cut at all. I copied it straight from the Lancet study. Go look it up yourself.

I already told you it was from the Lancet. Duh.
