Post-Corona, Preparing for Normalcy

You couldn't say social distancing has anything to do with the death percentages It's only a marker if the Infected rate is much higher

Or if folks who are not social distancing are still visiting grandma and grandpa and killing off a generation of grandparents. Those with underlying conditions may be more likely to go out for diner in a crowded restaurant than they would if they lived in a country that required takeout only.

Also, the infection rate in Sweden, as well as the Northeastern USA is likely higher. Sweden has done very little testing (why test if you are just going to let the pandemic run it's course anyway, right?) only the sickest of the sick end up going to the hospital and getting tested.

When this is all over and done with - whether a month from now or two years from now, I think it will be undeniable that the shut down saved lives.

Screwed up our economy, no doubt. But it will have saved millions, not merely hundreds or thousands of loved ones.

But even economically we will be fine. This is a world pandemic. All these countries are going to be forced to get together, and ask to have their debts forgiven as they forgive their debtors, and do a fresh start reboot. That is the one virtue of fiat money - none of it is real and none of it matters.

Might be Might not be There is no way to know SD is not doing Social distancing and only 7 deaths Mean nothing Michigan has been crazy about it and their death rate is fairly high means nothing

At least nothing we can say with any true understanding or any reasonable way to attribute to social distancing or not

Could be random could be the quality of the hospitals could be just about anything

Living is SD is literally the definition of social distancing.

Drones being used around the country to enforce coronavirus lockdowns were donated by a company with ties to the Chinese government, raising concerns that the nation many blame for allowing the virus to become a pandemic has sneaked a powerful espionage tool into the skies above its economic rival.

Drones from Da Jiang Innovations (DJI) have gone to 43 law enforcement agencies in 22 states to help ensure social distancing rules. In New Jersey, for example, the Chinese-made drones are being used to spy on citizens where patrol cars can't reach.

"Should people be concerned? Yes. Everyone should always be concerned," Brett Velicovich, former Army intelligence worker and author of "Drone Warrior," told Fox News. "You can never trust China."

The company denies any ulterior motives, but others, including drone experts, lawmakers and watchdog groups, say it's a slippery slope and that the bad outweighs the good in this case.

Headquartered in Shenzhen, China's version of Silicon Valley, DJI is the world's largest and best-known drone maker.

Sweden has done more tests per million of population than France or the UK has.

China purposely let this happen and it's a shame that our politicians still let them spy on us with technology.
