Recording Signatures

I usually record the client giving permission to do an electronic signature. How long do I have to keep those for? These are for Health insurance applications.

Do you do business in only one state? If so check with your state DOI or the state DOI's you do business in. Also, look at your contracting. There are usually timeframes listed by the carriers on record retention.

Now if this is a FE Apptical app then there really isn't a need as Apptical keeps those records.

I have no idea. Good question. I would suspect carriers would be able to help you with this as well. I think technology and compliance are starting to converge with a variety of issues.
