Reform Effort Morphing

John Conyers is channeling Rahm Emanuel and trying to explain Obama's "new" position on health insurance reform. Bear in mind this is the same guy who said he didn't have time to read legislation before passing it.

Yeh. That is goofy stuff. Intra-tribal warfare. As I say, Obama has problems on the left as well as on the right now.

Similarly, Obama's personal doctor has come out against Obama's plan and supports single payer.

Obama must be thinking: "wow, with friends like this, who needs enemas."

what happens if I decide to drop my plan and wait until I get sick, then with GI, I get a new plan when I need it. To me it defeats the purpose of insurance

Am I missing something??

Makes sense to me. Save the money that you would have spent on premiums so that when you do get sick you can get the best plan rather than one of those chintzy public option things.

Winter,

I implore you - some out from behind your cloak.

Protector of the Proletariet

hehehe. Al, it is great that you are so helpful to the poor because you promoted policies in California that created so many of them, and each day is a whole new batch. Sometimes I think it would be nice if they still had a job and their house to live in, but naaaaaaaaaaa, a job sounds too capitalist. Perhaps the State can use its vast resources to give a helping hand, if you have anything left over after keeping the electricity on and the sewers working. Some Workers Paradise you have there Al. Why dont you have your picture taken on an anti-aircraft gun like Jane Fonda did when she went over to celebrate the Workers Paradise in North Vietnam.
