Renewals: How Much for 110% Contract

Anyone know what a "good" rate of renewal commission level is
for a 110% first year commission contract? I was used to getting 8-10%
level for around 10 years. I am a single producer and produce my own
leads.

Depends on the company.

Some companies pay 12.5% for years 2-10 at the 110% contract. Others pay decent for a year or two and then go to 4-6%

Others just go to 4-6% at the 2nd year.

If I remember correctly some of the worst renewal rates are Americo and Mutual of Omaha. Some of the best renewals will be Settlers, American Memorial, and Monumental.

I'm going from memory. There could be some better or worse ones then those.

Agreed, way too many companies to state what the "good" rates are.
And producing your leads wouldn't matter in the equation,either way.

Well, I also give out Baltimore Life contracts; I have noticed I can give a person beneath me a 105% contract with either of two significantly different renewal schedules. My point is, if Baltimore has multiple renewal schedules, then others must also.

It seems like it is sometimes dependent upon what the upline gives out also. Since I am obviously not a big agency, I just wondered....
